Selection Process
The selection procedure for this recruitment involves shortlisting based on academic performance, center allotment for SSB interviews, and a two-stage interview process. Candidates who pass the interviews will undergo a medical examination. Final selections are made based on SSB marks, with joining letters issued to those who meet all criteria. Below is a detailed breakdown of each step in the selection procedure.
-
Shortlisting of Applications:
- Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) reserves the right to shortlist applications and fix cut-off percentages for each engineering discipline without assigning any reason.
- The cut-off will be applied on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained by candidates up to the final semester/year.
- Final semester/year candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear in SSB if:
- Their cumulative percentage up to the 6th semester/3rd year (Engineering), 8th semester/4th year (B. Arch), or 2nd semester/1st year (M.Sc) meets the cut-off.
- After final results, their cumulative percentage up to the final semester/year is not less than the approved cut-off.
-
Centre Allotment:
- Candidates will be informed of their selection center via email after shortlisting.
- Candidates must log in to the website to select SSB dates, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. If exceptional circumstances arise, dates will be allotted by the Selection Centres.
-
SSB Interview:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at one of the Selection Centres: Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), or Jalandhar Cantt (Punjab).
- Call-up letters will be issued via registered email and SMS.
- The Selection Centre allotment is at the discretion of the Directorate General of Recruiting, IHQ of MoD (Army), and requests for changes will not be entertained.
-
Two-Stage Selection Procedure:
- Stage-1: Initial screening; candidates who clear this proceed to Stage-2.

-
Merit List:
- Qualifying at the SSB Interview does not guarantee final selection.
