Selection Criteria

The selection process for SBI SO Recruitment (Advt No. 2024-25/10) involves several stages:

• Shortlisting: Mere fulfillment of minimum qualification and experience criteria does not guarantee an interview call. The shortlisting committee constituted by the Bank will determine the parameters for shortlisting candidates. A sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on these parameters. The Bank’s decision regarding shortlisting candidates is final, and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
• Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks for the interview will be decided by the Bank. No correspondence will be entertained regarding the interview marks.
• Interview cum CTC Negotiation (for contractual posts only): For contractual positions, a common interview cum CTC negotiation committee may be formed by the Bank. This committee may negotiate the Cost to Company (CTC) with the candidates during the interview process. Depending on the current CTC of the selected candidate, the committee may fix a CTC if necessary. The CTC will be divided into Fixed Pay and Variable Pay in an 85:15 ratio.
• Merit List: The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order based on the scores obtained in the interview only. If multiple candidates score the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point), they will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the merit list.
