Application Fee

Selection Process
The selection process includes the following steps:
- Applications are shortlisted by the Integrated HQ of MoD (Army), and the cutoff is determined without explanation. After shortlisting, candidates receive their Selection Centre allotment via email. Firm SSB dates are then provided.
- Only shortlisted candidates undergo SSB at one of the Selection Centres: Prayagraj (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), or Jalandhar (Punjab). Call Up letters are sent to the candidates’ registered email ID and SMS. Centre allotment is at the discretion of the Directorate General of Recruiting, Integrated Headquarters of MoD (Army), and no requests for changes are entertained.
- Candidates undergo a two-stage selection process. Those who clear Stage I proceed to Stage II. Those who fail in Stage I are sent back the same day. The SSB interview lasts for five days, with details available on the official website. This is followed by a medical examination for recommended candidates after Stage II.
- Recommended candidates, declared medically fit, receive Joining Letters for training based on merit and vacancy availability. They must agree to undergo medical examination by a board of Male/Female doctors if recommended by SSB.

Training under Indian Army TES 52 Recruitment 2024
Training spans four years and includes the following phases:
- Phase-I: Integrated Basic Military Training & Engineering Training for three years at CME, Pune/MCTE, Mhow/MCEME, Secunderabad.
- Phase-II: Integrated Basic Military Training & Engineering Training for one year at IMA, Dehradun, or designated PCTA (Pre Commission Training Academy).
- Degree Award: Candidates receive an Engineering degree upon successful completion of the four-year training. No ante date seniority is granted based on this degree. During the four-year training, candidates are allowed a maximum of two relegations due to academic reasons as per JNU Ordinance. Further relegation on academic grounds results in withdrawal from training.
- Cost of Training: The cost of training, which was ₹13,940/- as of 2021, and subject to change, is borne by the state and is recovered from candidates withdrawing for personal reasons during their stay at Cadet Training Wings/Indian Military Academy Dehradun.
