Note:

  • The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will be held in two Sessions: Session-I and Session-II on the same day without any break, and both sessions are mandatory.
  • Session-I: Duration of 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, Session-I will automatically close.
  • Session-II: Immediately after Session-I ends, Session-II will commence, also lasting for 45 minutes.
  • Exam Format: The CBE will consist of Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages: Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri (Metei or Meithei), Marathi, Odia (Oriya), Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
  • Negative Marking:
    • Session-I: There will be no negative marking.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is an essential part of the selection process for the post of Havaldar. This test specifically assesses the candidates’ physical fitness and endurance through a walking test. Candidates are required to complete a specified walking distance within a set time limit. The minimum physical efficiency standards for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN are as follows:

Physical Standard Test (PST):

Following the PET, the Physical Standard Test (PST) is conducted.   • The PET/PST will be conducted by CBIC/CBN at various centers they finalize. Candidates may be called for PET/PST at any center across the country.

Document Verification:

  • DV will be conducted by User Departments/Organizations after the final result declaration.

    • Two recent passport size color photographs.
    • One original Photo ID Proof.
  • Original and copies of the following documents are required during Document Verification (DV):
    • Matriculation/Secondary/Equivalent Certificate.
    • Order/letter for equivalent Educational Qualifications.
