The Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released a notification for 2700 vacancies for the recruitment of Apprentices for a period of 12 months under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The notification has been released state/UT and circle-wise. The Bank reserves the right to allot any circle within the state/UT for training, considering administrative and operational convenience. Candidates engaged as Apprentices will NOT be treated as “employees” of the Punjab National Bank and will not be entitled to receive any benefits that are available to the employees of the Bank.   • Candidates must possess a graduate degree in any discipline from an Institute/ College/ University recognized or approved by Government bodies/ AICTE/ UGC.

Salary and Benefits

In this recruitment, engaged apprentices are entitled to receive a stipend per month based on the branch category during the one-year contract period. The stipend amounts are as follows:

  • Rural/Semi-Urban Branches: Rs. 10,000/-
  • Urban Branches: Rs. 12,000/-
  • Metro Branches: Rs. 15,000/-

During the apprenticeship period at Punjab National Bank (PNB), apprentices will receive a monthly stipend based on the location of the branch where they are assigned. This stipend is intended to support them financially during their training period.
