Exam Pattern
There will be one composite paper of 150 minutes duration, conducted by Bank of Baroda. The question paper will be objective type with multiple choice questions. This online computer-based test (CBT) will consist of the following subjects:
Note:-
- All sections/tests mentioned above, except the Test of English Language, will be conducted bilingually in English and Hindi.
- Reasoning, English Language, and Quantitative Aptitude are qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in these sections will not be included in the final result.
- The minimum qualifying marks/percentage for each section are 40% for General & EWS Category and 35% for Reserved Categories. The Bank reserves the right to alter or waive off the qualifying criteria at its discretion.
- Marks obtained in the Professional Knowledge section will be considered for shortlisting candidates for further selection processes and for preparing the rank list.
- There is a penalty for wrong answers in the Professional Knowledge section. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty. No penalty will be applied for unanswered questions.
Selection Process for Bank of Baroda 2024
The examination process comprises two essential stages: the Online Examination and Interview/Group Discussion. Both stages are mandatory for all candidates participating in the recruitment process. Each stage serves a critical role in evaluating candidates’ suitability for the position and ensuring adherence to the selection criteria set by the recruiting authority.
(a) Online Examination:-
The online examination will take place at designated Examination Centres. Admit cards will be accessible for download online. (b) Group Discussion (GD)/ Personal Interview (PI)/ Psychometric Test or any other test/assessment as part of selection process:-
- The Bank reserves the right to call candidates for GD/PI based on their performance in the online test.
- Candidates must achieve minimum scores in each test/section and a total score in the online test to qualify for Psychometric Assessment/GD &/or Interview.
- Shortlisting for Psychometric Assessment/GD &/or PI depends on vacancies, cutoffs, and total marks secured in the online test, as decided by the Bank.
- In case of tie (same cutoff score), candidates will be ranked by age in descending order.
- Psychometric Assessment/GD &/or PI evaluates candidates on personality, communication skills, problem-solving ability, efficiency, willingness to work nationwide, and suitability for the role.
- Minimum qualifying marks for GD/PI are 60% for General Category and 55% for Reserved Category, subject to Bank discretion.
- Candidates failing GD/PI will not proceed further in the selection process.
- Final scores are determined by performance in the online test and/or PI and/or GD.
- Scores of candidates disqualified from GD/PI will not be disclosed.
- Candidates must qualify in all selection stages and rank sufficiently high for shortlisting.
- Only candidates passing the online test/GD/PI will be shortlisted, based on available vacancies.
- During GD/PI, candidates must present specified documents; failure to do so will result in cancellation of candidature.
- The Bank bears no responsibility for receiving documents sent separately.

At present, monthly CTC at the initial level of MMG/S-II, MMG/S-III & SMG/S-IV including DA, Special Allowance, HRA, CCA and all perks and benefits like quarters facility, in lieu of HRA, for Officers; Conveyance; Medical Aid; LTC; etc., admissible as per rules of the Bank, in force from time to time is approximately Rs. 2.30 lacs, Rs. 2.80 lacs and Rs. 3.30 lacs per month (as amended from time to time), respectively in Mumbai.
