- Note: The applicable qualification for DGCA registered ALH Dhruv helicopter shall be Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) category A&C license; and for IAF (Military) registered MI-17 and Fixed Wing Embraer Aircraft, the applicable qualification shall be degree in Engineering in Mechanical for Mechanical stream; and Degree in Engineering in Electrical or Electronic and Telecommunication or Aeronautical for Avionics stream.

- For General(UR)/ EWS/ OBC category candidates: 50%
- The number of candidates to be qualified in the written examination will be restricted to a maximum of ten times the number of vacancies or to the number of qualified candidates, whichever is less, for appearing in the 2nd phase examination. There will be no re-evaluation of answer sheets.

The 1st phase of the examination, i.e., the Written Exam, will take place at selected Examination Centers. It will consist of two composite papers printed in both Hindi and English. - Successful candidates from the 1st phase Written Examination will appear before the selection board for the Second Phase Examination.

- Any candidate not qualifying in any of the events of the second phase examination will be eliminated from the process of recruitment.
