Application Fee

Selection Process

  • Preliminary Screening:
    • A preliminary screening of applications may be carried out by the Bank to shortlist eligible candidates based on their qualifications, suitability, and experience.
  • Examination (if required) and Personal Interview/Discussion:
    • Selection will be through an examination (if required) and a personal interview/discussion.
    • The Bank reserves the right to conduct a written examination depending on the number of applications received.
  • Additional Qualifications and Experience:
    • While shortlisting candidates, the Bank may consider additional qualifications, greater experience, and the level of responsibilities handled.
    • Merely fulfilling the minimum qualification and experience criteria does not automatically entitle a candidate to the interview.
    • The Bank, based on decided criteria, shall shortlist candidates for the interview, and only such candidates will be allowed to participate in the recruitment process.
  • Final Selection:
    • The final selection will be based on the marks secured by the candidate in the personal interview/discussion.
    • The allocation of marks for the personal interview is 100.
    • Candidates must score a minimum of 50 marks (45 in the case of SC/ST/PwBD) to qualify for the interview.
    • In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at the cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order in the merit list.

Rejection of Candidature:

  • The Bank reserves the right to reject the candidature of any candidate at any stage of the recruitment process if found ineligible or if incorrect or false information/ certificates/ documents are furnished, or if any material facts are suppressed.
  • The fees paid by ineligible candidates shall be forfeited.
  • If appointed, such a candidate may be summarily removed from the services of the Bank.
